Bad Noise!

What's in a name? Hopefully Korean post-rockers Apollo 18 are happy with theirs, because they're going to spend the coming months getting confused with Gonzalo López-Gallego's upcoming Paranormal Activity-on-the-Moon horror movie. No prizes for guessing who'll win the Google rankings fight on that one, but Apollo 18-the-band are a promising bunch, and scored some good reviews when they appeared at Austin's South By Southwest festival earlier in the year. Catch them at this month's Bad Noise! indie shindig, with the grungy Sawas Phool and more straightforwardly rockin' The Cold Tommy in support.
