Beach House

Briefly lumped in with the chillwave movement of a few years ago, dreamy Baltimore duo Beach House seem to have escaped the hipster backlash relatively unscathed. The reviews for 2012's Bloom weren't quite as stellar as for its predecessor, Teen Dream, but the record still made it into many end-of-year lists – so you can expect a decent crowd when the band head to Liquidroom this month, with support from guitar-wielding hypnotist Dustin Wong.
