Time Out says

Back in the late '90s, Norway suddenly became one of the most vibrant and adventurous jazz haunts in the world, and Bugge Wesseltoft was at the centre of the action. Together with compatriots including Supersilent, the pianist embarked on a mission to fuse jazz and electronica that's continued to this day, leading him into the bowels of his instrument and birthing collaborations with clubland figures including Laurent Garnier and Henrik Schwartz. For his latest Tokyo gigs, he's hooking up with a semi-regular band including trumpeter Erik Truffaz and saxman Ilhan Ersahin – both jazz musicians with a taste for fusing genres – and NYC house veteran Joaquin 'Joe' Claussell, who'll be supplying 'beats and percussion'.
