Maturity seems to be working out quite nicely for Dan Deacon. The Baltimore electronica boffin surprised just about everyone when he followed the synaptic overload of 2007 breakout album Spiderman of the Rings with the densely arranged but frequently gorgeous Bromst, a record that's got more in common with Cornelius than Kid 606. It's also led the former electro-acoustic composition student back to working with live musicians, though he'll be taking a break from his Australia tour with the Dan Deacon Ensemble to play solo here in Japan. Support for the night comes from two key figures on the domestic electronica scene: De De Mouse and Oorutaichi.
