2012 still not feeling as progressive as you'd hoped it would? Get your fix of fiddly time signatures and lopsided riffs with some of Tokyo's younger converts to the prog cause, including amorphous ensemble Ore Wa Konna Mon Ja Nai, frenzied three-piece Sajjanu (whom one of Time Out's friends compared, not inaccurately, DragonForce) and avant-rock trio Kukan Gendai. OWKMJ's Akihiko Ando will also be cranking up the feedback for the debut live outing of the Electric Sax Quartet, with Yosio Ootani, 448 (pronounced 'Yoshiya') and Masatsugu Hattori.
