De La Fantasia

After taking the year off in 2011, one-day festival De La Fantasia is returning to Studio Coast with a lineup that's every bit as diverse as the first two. There's more emphasis on acoustic sounds than in previous years, be it The High Llamas' intricately wrought retro-pop, Maki Nakamura's americana or Tenniscoats' deconstructed folk. Also keep an eye out for YMO member and inveterate genre surfer Haruomi Hosono (bets are off as to what the hell to expect from that guy nowadays) and veteran instrumental band World Standard, one of the most terminally neglected acts on the domestic indie scene.
