Time Out says

With their twin-saxophone lineup, Sapporo septet Desert sit somewhere between the worlds of rock, fusion and blustering free jazz – though don't let the latter comparison scare you off. The group are pitching up in Tokyo for a very belated release party for their Olde Tubers Has Bars in the Belfry album, which actually came out at the tail end of last year. They're joined for the occasion by some of Tokyo's prime genre magpies, including dubby quartet Sine and the barmy, Sun Ra-baiting Hununhum.
