Political activism is far too rare among Japanese musicians, so it's refereshing to see such a healthy turnout for this weekend triple-header held to promote the admittedly uncontroversial cause of voting in this Sunday's Upper House election. On Friday, Unit will be bouncing to the tunes of Boredoms, DJ Nobu, DYGL, Donuts Disco Deluxe, Yakenohara and company, while Saturday sees a free-entry double event at Shimokitazawa clubs More and Three. And on the evening of Election Day, you can watch the results come in while rocking with the likes of Gotch, Seventeen Again and My Arcade at Shimokita's Shelter.
