Enban Summer Festival

Time Out says

The event formerly known as the Enban Jamboree is a ramshackle parade of one-off collaborations and terminally obscure musicians presented by the eponymous indier-than-thou record shop/live house in Koenji. Most of the acts are Enban regulars, which is to say that you've probably never heard of them unless you've been to Enban, but the (relatively) bigger names include cult rapper ECD (playing with keyboardist Popo), Nisennenmondai, and the bizarre prospect of shaggy psychedelic rockers Acid Mothers Temple and experimental indie-popsters Tenniscoats joining forces as, ahem, Acid Mothers Tenniscoats. Together at last! What's more, with the music spread across both floors of O-Nest, here's seldom a moment to stop and wonder what the hell is going on.
