Veteran improv musicians and younger artists gather for two days of live collaborations and chin-wagging at Shibuya O-Nest. Musical highlights include a duo between saxman Naruyoshi Kikuchi and leftfield hip hopper Moe and Ghosts, headstrong psych experimentalist Keiji Haino tussling with avant-rock trio Kukan-Gendai, and a performance by Hatsune Kaidan, the unlikely collaboration between Kansai noise overlords Hijokaidan and Vocaloid star Hatsune Miku. There'll also be a series of in-depth talk sessions featuring novelists, critics and a few of the musicians themselves. Highbrow stuff, in other words.
