Hokuo Music Night

Get a sampling of Scandinavian electronica at this Nordic jamboree, which loosely ties in with the weekend's Finland Fest gigs. Hokuo Music Night is billed as an electropop affair, though audiences might be wrongfooted by the dark, immersive sounds of Icelandic composer Kira Kira. They'll be on safer ground with seductive Finnish electro trio Husky Rescue, house-loving Swedes Lo-Fi-Fnk and Lars and The Hands of Light, the latest project of prolific Danish singer-songwriter Lars Vognstrup.
