Incognito with Leon Ware

'Without an annual trip to Japan, Incognito's year would feel incomplete,' declares Jean-Paul 'Bluey' Maunick, the guitarist and composer who's led these acid jazz pioneers since 1979. It seems that a lot of local fans feel the same way: tickets have almost completely sold out for the group's four-night residency at the Blue Note. Then again, that might also be thanks to the special guest who's joining them for the occasion: '70s soul singer and songwriter Leon Ware.
