Time Out says

Incubus were always a bit softer and a bit more interesting than their turn-of-the-millennium alt-rock peers, countering the bluster of Limp Biskit, et al. with brilliantly inventive tracks like 'Stellar' and 'Drive'. Since then, they've received rather mixed reviews: 2011's If Not Now, When?, the group's first album in five years, was so utterly monochrome that even their fans are probably struggling to remember much of it, while their latest album, 8, has either been heralded for the group's refound rock-feel or slated for its relative lack of distinctive personality. Regardless, seeing them live should be a proper nostalgia trip for many a nineties kid.
