Jad Fair, the paper-cutting pop-savant of Half Japanese fame, teams up with Teenage Fanclub's Norman Blake for a joint tour that finds them indulging their mutual love for the songs of Daniel Johnston. Support for the ramshackle duo's first Tokyo date comes from Posies and REM collaborator Ken Stringfellow, while on Saturday they'll be making mischief with old pals Tenniscoats.
