Time Out says

As the bassist for hugely influential post-hardcore band Fugazi, Joe Lally has always been able to count on a strong following in Japan – even after he had to cut short his 2007 tour here following the death of his father. With his main band on indefinite hiatus, Lally has pursued a solo career whose output sounds much like you'd expect from the bassist of Fugazi: rich with rhythmic invention but short on strong melodic hooks. This is his second Tokyo date in support of new album Why Should I Get Used to It, following a show at Shibuya O-East on Sept 8, and features support from math rockers Lite and indie groups The Shuwa and Mahoraga.
