Joey Ramone Memorial Concert

It would've gone down in the history books as the most titter-inducing tour of 2011, but sadly The Queers have cancelled their scheduled Tokyo dates with Spazzys. Still, if the New Hampshire pop-punk veterans didn't fancy a jaunt to post-earthquake Japan, their co-headliners – Melbourne's first ladies of girl-band awesomeness – weren't so easily deterred. Come and watch Kat, Lucy and Ally Spazzy celebrate Joey Ramone with local acts (and fellow devotees) Socho Pistons, The Headbangers and Poni-Camp. All punters get a free 'Joey Ramone Place' sticker on entry, and there'll be special posters up for grabs for anyone who comes sporting a Ramones T-shirt.
