Time Out says

A trained operatic soprano who once worked as a wedding and funeral singer, Josephine Foster was probably destined for a diverse career before she'd even started. Over the past decade, the singer's discography has ranged from children's songs to psych-rock, Spanish folk and German lieder, but on last year's Blood Rushing she returned to her native Colorado for a set of spare, emotive folk-rock. She makes her Japan debut this month with a tour alongside husband and regular collaborator Victor Herrero, which concludes with this date at WWW. Local improv mainstay Noritaka Tanaka joins the duo on drums, with an opening set from Keiji Haino. Advance reservations (including name, contact information and number of people, with the title 'April 23, JOSEPHINE FOSTER'), can be made via www.info@www-shibuya.jp.
