Time Out says

Self-described 'jazz punk' septet Katteni-Shiyagare hark back to a past that probably never existed, one that's equal parts Godard, Lupin III and late-night jazz dens. Like Osaka duo Ego-Wrappin', with whom they collaborated on last year's 'Vermouth Flowers' single, the group prefer to serve their jazz wedded to a solid rock backbeat, courtesy of singing drummer Syohei Muto. They've got a pair of albums to promote at this weekend's gig: new studio album Melody and Silver & Gold: Silver, a compilation of tracks culled from their indie label years.
