Hold on tight: this might get a little odd. Avant-rock trio Kukan-Gendai hit SuperDeluxe to mark the release of their second album of stop-start rhythms and bewildering song structures (check the off-kilter promo vid below), with help from a cast including Zazen Boys leader Shutoku Mukai, contemporary dance duo Anna - Ore and hybrid post-punk-hip-hop quartet Skillkills. Expect a few one-off collaborations and plenty of head-scratching in the course of the night.
