L.E.D.

Describing themselves as a 'cinematic instrumental band', seven-piece ensemble L.E.D. seldom perform without a VJ to back them up. It makes for an immersive live experience, but the visuals also offer a welcome distraction when the group's genre-mashing jams drift from exploratory terrain into the realms of tasteful noodling. They're joined at this O-Nest gig by laptop-enhanced drummer Jimanica – who's playing a full band set for the occasion – and Dub Squad, a recently reformed trio who were the toast of Japan's electronica scene in the 1990s.
