London Punk Sessions

Time Out says

Three (well, more like two and a half) acts from the first wave of British punk will be hitting Tokyo this weekend to celebrate the 25th anniversary of UK-obsessed record shop and promoter Vinyl Japan. Menace are now onto their fifth incarnation, which sees founder members Noel Martin (drums) and Charlie Casey (bass) joined by guitarist Finn Panton. The Boys originally split up in 1981, though they would reunite 20 years later, and have been fitfully active over the past decade. Last of all, vocalist TV Smith will be appearing with a Tokyo version – okay, more like cover band – of the act for which he's best remembered, the Adverts. This is their second show after a date at Club 251 on Oct 22, and features guest turns by local acts Billy & The J-Chords and Vibrate Two Fingers.
