New Zealander Mike Fabulous wears many hats – producer, multi-instrumentalist, guitarist for organic dub supergroup Black Seeds – but it is under the Lord Echo alias that he specialises in offbeat mixtures of reggae, dub, soul and funk. Boasting a healthy fanbase on these shores, Mr Echo is a frequent visitor to Tokyo, and now returns to put in a good word for his upcoming third solo album.
