In less than a year, Seattle-based poet and musician Mary Lambert went from toiling at multiple jobs to playing in front of thousands of people all over America. Since then, she's released a well-received debut album (Heart on My Sleeve) and made waves with her LGBT rights activism, and now stops by Tokyo and Cotton Club for two nights of gigs.
