Nest Festival '12

When Shibuya O-Nest's ideas get too big for its surroundings, it moves across the road to O-East instead. Returning after a two-year absence, the indie-centric venue's Nest Festival may have a larger space at its disposal, but it still focuses on the same acts who regularly grace the stage of O-Nest itself. This year's runs from motorik trio Nisennenmondai and Shugo Tokumaru-fronted indie rockers Gellers to electro-hop pranksters Group_inou and James Brown disciples Zainichi Funk. There's also a small international contingent, meaning that you can expect sets from maudlin singer-songwriter Owen and Anticon's Baths and Raleigh Moncrief.
