Time Out says

It's hard to believe that this trio started off playing freewheeling noise rock, so tightly controlled has their sound become over the years. On the recent N album (released on their own Bijin Record label) and their forthcoming 12" for Zelone Records, Nisennenmondai may be playing with a conventional rock lineup of bass, guitar and drums, but they've stripped everything down to the barest essentials. Get a taste of the group's motorik minimalism when they celebrate said 12" release with a performance at Liquid Loft this August, with DJ support from the record's producer, You Ishihara, as well as DJ Nobu, Compuma and ex-Yura Yura Teikoku frontman Shintaro Sakamoto.
