In their native Taipei, Touming Magazine are the support band of choice when acts like No Age and Guitar Wolf roll through town. The quartet cite acts including Pixies and Fugazi among their influences, but Japanese audiences are more likely to spot the obvious – and far from unwelcome – resemblance to local alt. rock heroes Number Girl. They're currently on tour in support of the Japanese release of album Our Soul Music, and will be appearing at Womb with a solid selection of Tokyo guitar wranglers, including The Mornings, Thai Kick Murph and V/acation.
