Open Reel Ensemble

In this age of laptop and iPad performers, there's something awe-inspiring about seeing a group create dance music using clunky old reel-to-reel tape recorders. Not for nothing have Ei Wada's Open Reel Ensemble snagged bookings at events from Barcelona's Sonar festival to TEDxTokyo. The group wrap up a tour in support of their eponymous debut album with a solo date at WWW this weekend, featuring guest vocals from Sotaisei Riron's Etsuko Yakushimaru.
