This might go down as the year in which the wider world awoke to the brilliance of Uhnellys. The audacious avant hip-hop blues duo have been touring hard on the back of third album To Too Two, making their debut appearance at Fuji Rock Festival along the way. They're the headlining act at the latest in Metropolis magazine's Saiko concert series, which this time around also features adorable indie girl band Merpeoples, Blue Man Group spin-off Callum's Whisky Tales and The Girl, the latest project by Screaming Seagull Kiss Her Kiss Her's Aiha Higurashi. There'll also be performance artistry and rope bondage (not something you see at the average indie gig), with 10% of proceeds going to Peace Boat's relief work in Tohoku.
