Ringo Deathstarr

Returning to Japan for their third trip this year, Ringo Deathstarr appear to have found a receptive audience for their bracingly loud – if not terribly original – blend of The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Primitives and My Bloody Valentine. In a canny bit of booking, the distortion-drenched Texans will be appearing alongside a group who they recently covered: Japanese shoegaze veterans Coaltar of the Deepers.
