Roth Bart Baron

Born-and-bred Tokyoites, singer-guitarist Masaya Mifune and drummer-percussionist Tetsuya Nakahara are Roth Bart Baron, who play a challenging mixture of indie folk, '80s pop and acoustic experimentation. The result of their 2015 excursion to Montreal and its flourishing indie scene, last year's album Atom propelled the duo to ever greater heights. Having played Fuji Rock and toured all over Asia in 2016, RBB now return to Liquidroom with a full band in tow. Competent backup will be provided by British-born Kyotoite Ally Mobbs and Sapporo folk-country quartet Benbe.
