Seiichi Yamamoto & You Ishihara

You can catch two key names from the Japanese psychedelic underground at UFO Club this weekend, as Seiichi Yamamoto – formerly of Boredoms, currently of Rovo, Para and various other acts – shares top billing with You Ishihara, whose work with White Heaven in the '80s was a key influence on Yura Yura Teikoku. Yamamoto plays in a duo with ace drummer Tatsuhisa Yamamoto (no relation), while Ishihara has roped in some 'friends' including fresh-faced singer Mai Mishio and drummer Yasunobu Arakawa.
