Ever wondered what a Japanese SXSW might look like? Head to Shimokitazawa on June 24 and you can find out, as over a hundred acts play at 16 different venues around the neighbourhood, ranging from venerable live spots such as Garden, Shelter and Fever to more unorthodox locations including Muji and the local town hall. Now in its fourth edition, Shimokitazawa Indie Fanclub has already spawned imitators – and if the last few were any indication, you'll want to get your tickets in advance as it's liable to sell out. The lineup is far too long to list in full here, but acts to watch out for include Shugo Tokumaru, Cero, Yolz in the Sky, Teen Runnings and visiting Korean duo Wedance.
