Underground venue Soup made a low-level incursion into the record business last year with the launch of DIY label Sludge, and the results so far – all of them distributed on brightly coloured cassette tapes – have been nothing short of 'orrible. Head to SuperDeluxe for the release party, where label mates Miclodiet (think: noise-strafed techno) and Yousuke Fuyama (abstract sound artistry) will be playing together as a duo, while improv everyman Kelly Churko cranks up the noise in a laptop collab with Pain Jerk. Expect some scraped-raw techno from Steven Porter, the collaboration between Kansai knob twiddlers Yuji Kondo and Katsunori Sawa, with further tortured sonics from Tesco Suicide and Suzukiiiiiiiiii × Youpy. Earplugs? Definitely.
