As one of Japan's most convincing purveyors of the overdriven electro-house sound popularised by Digitalism and Ed Banger Records, 80kidz have been in considerable demand since they released their first EP back in 2008. Along with a pair of full-lengths, the duo have already clocked up enough remixes to fill two albums – the second of which, infelicitously titled This is My Works 2, drops next month. This week, they're teaming up with web magazine-slash-event promoters New Audiogram to stage a potentially barnstorming gig at Unit. Zazen Boys spin-off group Kimonos will also be playing, as will Logic System, the veteran synth pioneer last seen with his mighty Moog at Freaks Music Festival during Golden Week.
