In the decade since Number Girl split up, countless young Japanese guitar slingers have looked to the template mapped out by Shutoku Mukai's influential post-hardcore band. While Asian Kung-Fu Generation are the most high-profile descendants, the nervier, weirder Suiseinoboaz seem like far worthier heirs to the Number Girl legacy – hell, they even got Mukai to produce their debut album. Though they've been fixtures on the underground live circuit for the past few years, they seem to be aiming for crossover success with sophomore album The (Overused) End of the World and I Miss You Muh-Fuh, the tour for which concludes with this solo date at Unit.
