In preparation of the Kinshicho Kawachi Ondo Bon Odori on August 29 to 30, which attracts more than 30,000 visitors yearly, Moxy Tokyo Kinshicho is having a pre-event on July 15. Look forward to special live performances led by Kawachi Ondo legend Ippei Yamanaka. Unlike traditional Bon Odori dances, Kawachi Ondo is performed in a narrative style combined with refined sounds of traditional taiko drums, shamisen and electric guitars. On top of that, you can participate in Bon Odori lessons to be well prepared for the main event in late August − practice makes perfect!
