Every gig is an onslaught of weirdness with Kufuki, a trio whose primitivist explorations of global psychedelia occasionally recall Sun Araw – or even, at a stretch, Sun City Girls. They're just one of the attractions at this oddball gathering at SuperDeluxe, which also features experimental steel pan drummer Yoshio Machida and unpredictable avant rockers Kukan-Gendai, plus DJs Ari, Elly and Hiroyuki Kojima.
