Switch 3

Formed from the ashes of punk band Lap Speed, Canberra's Switch 3 combine an affection for uncomplicated moshing with the heavy riffing of Iron Maiden and the navel-gazing lyrics of emo (sample lyric: 'Come to me and you will see / I am not the nice guy I pretend to be' – ooh, behave!). Their third visit to Tokyo takes in dates at Shinjuku's ACB Hall and Shibuya's Chelsea Hotel before winding up at Eggman, where they're joined by local punk bands Blauer Monday, Skanky Dank and others.
