Time Out says

Gone are the days when it was easy to poo-poo Te' as just another bunch of Mogwai wannabes. While they owe a considerable stylistic debt to the influential Scottish post-rockers, this Tokyo instrumental quartet were simply too restless – and too musically adept – to stick with the same plodding rhythms and simple song structures for long. Nowadays, their music bears as much resemblance to the frantic prog-hardcore of contemporaries like 9mm Parabellum Bullet as it does to Stuart Braithwaite and pals, making them a blisteringly good live act. Added bonus: they're supported here by Zazen Boys, who if anything are even better.
