Time Out says

The flipside of the current spate of band reunions is the farewell tour, when groups who've toiled on for far longer than they really needed to induce a final gasp of adoration by falling on their swords. It's a tactic that worked for The Music earlier this year, and now The Bluetones are giving it a spin. You have to feel a slight pang of sympathy for these Britpop survivors, whose debut album, Expecting to Fly, shot to number 1 in 1996 – but whose most recent effort, A New Athens, failed to chart when it was released last year. The group's final Tokyo show will involve a 'career spanning set of songs', probably including this one.
