The Posies

The Posies didn't do a very good job of splitting up. After a relatively fruitful period on Geffen subsidiary DCG Records in the early and mid-'90s, the Seattle power-pop act seemed to peter out, and they played what were billed as their 'final' shows in 1998. Then kept going. Founding members Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow have released a couple of albums since their not-quite-reunion – 2005's Every Kind of Light and last year's Blood/Candy – though neither really compared to the band's best material. Meh, as long as they play 'Dream All Day', we won't complain.
