Roppongi Hills and radio station J-Wave have been holding these free concerts every Golden Week since 2008, inviting a different music veteran to curate the lineup each year. Or at least, that's how they used to do it: since the 2013 edition of Tokyo M.A.P.S. (the acronym, in case you're wondering, stands for Music, Art, Performance and, ahem, 'Showcase Special Stream Session Series') coincides with the 25th anniversary of J-Wave and 10th anniversary of Roppongi Hills, they're handling everything themselves this time around. Highlights on the first day include jazz-rock eccentrics Ego-Wrappin' and pop duo Moumoon, while the second includes one-man rock band Miyavi, club jazz supremos Soil & "Pimp" Sessions and hip hop veterans Rhymester.
