Time Out says

How can you say no to an event with a name like that? (Full disclosure: it might actually be 'Tokyo New Slave Hyper' – we weren't sure about the romanisation.) It's the brainchild of Jusho Futei Mushoku, a girl trio who play cute garage punk very badly indeed, and Gekitetsu, a self-consciously ludicrous punk outfit who sound like a fratboy version of Public Image Limited. The action is spread across two venues – Fever and Shimokitazawa's Three – that must be a good 20 minutes' walk from each other, and goofiness is high on the agenda. Other acts include retro rock trio N'Shukugawa Boys, whose girl-boy vocal interplay evokes fond memories of the B-52s, and Shinji Masuko, the ever-excessive frontman for heavy rockers DMBQ.
