Typhoon Party 2

Nothing like a typhoon to spoil the party. Following the last-minute cancellation of tonight's Metamorphose festival down in Shizuoka Prefecture, many of the acts who were originally booked to play will be hitting venues around Tokyo this weekend instead. Liquidroom has snagged many of the conventional bands from the bill: there'll be sets by funk act Galactic, Ebo Taylor & Afrobeat Academy - the group band helmed by the veteran Ghanian musician – and guitar hero Stevie Salas, plus Detroit house heavyweight Moodymann.
