Time Out says

Samurai Jazz Quintet – or SJQ, as they're more commonly known – describe their music as 'a chain reaction of human and virtual interactions', though that barely prepares you for the brain overload of the group's live shows, which don't so much blur as entirely remove the line between electronic manipulation and conventional instrumentation. The group will be hooking up with programmer and sound artist Kezzardrix at SuperDeluxe this weekend, in a gig that focuses on adventurous audio-visual collaborations. Electronica producer Bun/Fumitake Tamura appears in his regular duo with visual artist Takcom, and you'll want to get there early to catch the opening set by twitchy avant rockers Kukan-Gendai and VJ Syun Ishibashi. Abstract hip hop trio Monju round out the bill.
