Yasuaki Shimizu & Saxophonettes

Veteran tenor saxman Yasuaki Shimizu and his Saxophonettes take it home with a rare full-length gig at Spiral Hall. In the spotlight for a couple of high-profile reissues – 1982 album Kakashi and the analogue version of Music For Commercials, a plainly titled but fascinating compilation of past ad work – Shimizu will be joined by four frequent collaborators: Ryoko Egawa, Hirokazu Hayashida, Ryota Higashi and Hiroshi Suzuki.
