Time Out says

Boasting a resume that stretches from improv power trio Altered States to sprawling jazz ensembles like Date Course Pentagon Royal Garden and Shibusashirazu Orchestra, Yasuhiro Yoshigaki is one of the most versatile drummers currently playing in Japan – and one of the most prolific. His four-night residency at Pit Inn this week showcases two of his ensembles: the first night is devoted to Emergency!, his free-psych rock quartet with guitarists Otomo Yoshihide and Ryoichi Saito and bassist Hiroaki Mizutani, followed by three nights with Orquesta Libre, a ten-piece ensemble specialising in jazz standards. Yoichiro Yanagihara and Yuichi Ohata guest on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively, while on Friday the group will tackle the songs of Duke Ellington, with help from pianist Dairo Suga and tap dancers Yuji Uragami and Ron x II.
