Time Out says

Osaka post-punk act Yolz in the Sky were once one of the most pummeling acts on the live circuit, combining the twisted guitar shapes of PiL with a rhythm section that traded fanciness for brute repetition. So when their bassist left the band last year, it seemed like things might be finished. Instead, Yolz chose to continue as a three-piece, with guitarist Kentaro Shibata building up layers on a loop pedal while drummer Shinya Hirase cranks out the most minimal death-disco imaginable. One thing that hasn't changed is singer Takanobu Hagiwara, who still jerks around the stage while emitting a high-pitched yelp that's drawn comparisons to Melt-Banana's Yasuko Onuki. Just, you know, he's a guy. Yolz are presiding over an impressive bill at WWW, with sleaze rockers Guitar Wolf appearing as special guests, plus on-the-up act Gekitetsu and motorik girl-rock trio Nisennenmondai.
