Writer, illustrator, essayist, singer and all-round everyman Lily Franky always intended his Zanzibar Night event to be a musical mish-mash. Now into its fourth year, the festival is about as eclectic as you can be when you've only got one stage and a single afternoon at your disposal. The latest features punk icon Akihiro Namba, febrile rockers 9mm Parabellum Bullet, idol group Momoiro Clover Z and comedy troubadour Ukulele Eiji, among others. Like we said: a bit of a mish-mash. They'll also be taking a collection for Unicef, and everyone who donates money will get a special, Franky-designed badge for their troubles.
