Aoyama Hachi 21st Anniversary

Shibuya's Organ Bar isn't the only club in town celebrating its birthday this weekend: Aoyama's funky Hachi marks 21 years of tunes over two days, with all four floors opened for spinning throughout the weekend. Friday sees a jazz- and soul-heavy serving, headed by club jazz doyen Tadashi Yabe of United Future Organization and hip hop innovator DJ Quietstorm, who will be teaming up as Righteous alongside DJs Kensei and Sagaraxx's Coffee & Cigarettes Band. Saturday, on the other hand, is looking like a more straightforward house and techno affair, with the likes of Gonno, KZA and Conomark set to take the booth.
